APHRDS started its journey and development in a humble way. It’s course from a ‘Community Interest Group’ to that of a peoples organization involved a lot of struggle and decision of a committed team.
It was initiated in the year 1987 in a remote rural village named Korrai, being inspired by Gandhian ideal of ‘Gram Swaraj’, village autonomy.
A group of young people in and around Korrai village started this process of “Brotherly sharing” to cherish the humanistic values of ‘love your neighbor & love your village’.
